Wynmere Estate is a boutique property that borrows its language from Europe, with formal gardens, a Georgian hall, an atrium and a glasshouse. Subtropical rainforest presses in on every side, and the Gold Coast is thirty minutes away, close enough for guests to drive up for the day and far enough that the hinterland feels like somewhere else. Ceremonies are held in The Parterre, a formal French garden, or at The Creekside, a natural rainforest setting beside the water.
The estate accommodates up to 80 guests. The Parterre seats 40 within the garden beds themselves or up to 80 using the external perimeter, and The Creekside also takes up to 80. If the weather turns, The Atrium was designed as the estate’s signature covered alternative, open-air and light-filled rather than a compromise room. Receptions then move into The Grand Hall, a Georgian-style space that is fully air-conditioned, with French windows, its own bar and indoor restrooms.
Catering is in-house and exclusive, led by the experienced Ridgeway Group, and a free-flowing drinks package is included, upgradeable to spirits, cocktails or a champagne tower. BYO and DIY are not offered, so the estate suits couples who would rather hand the day over than assemble it. Dedicated coordinators help design the event, and ceremony set-up covers timber bistro chairs, the signing table, a PA system and clear umbrellas for wet weather. Timber trestle tables, a choice of dining chairs, crystal-style glassware, crockery and cutlery, a fully equipped bar with in-house styling, a speaker system and a lectern with wireless microphone are all included. The combination of formal European gardens, rainforest surrounds and a fully serviced package makes Wynmere Estate an outstanding boutique estate wedding venue.
