Planted rather than built, Sol Gardens spreads across seven acres of botanical garden in Currumbin Valley, roughly fifteen minutes inland from Currumbin Beach. The choice here is between corners of a garden rather than rooms in a building. The creek site places the ceremony beside Currumbin Creek with sunlight filtering down through the trees, while the pond is the quieter option, a secluded pocket of still water, water lilies and a gentle fountain suited to a smaller guest list.
The gardens do not publish guest numbers, so capacity is confirmed on enquiry, and exclusive access to all seven acres comes with the booking. After the vows the garden lawn takes over for cocktail hour, set with wine barrels, stools, chairs and tables, and the Pavilion carries the reception with ambient lighting and a dance floor. Open to the garden yet fully covered, the Pavilion doubles as the wet-weather alternative, so an outdoor celebration is never at the mercy of the forecast.
Sol Gardens is a genuinely BYO venue, which gives couples real control over how the day comes together. Couples bring their preferred caterer or work from a list of recommended professionals, and supply their own drinks while the venue provides full bar service with glassware, cocktail jugs, spring water, ice and professional bartenders. A dedicated coordinator supports the planning through to the day itself, and setup covers ceremony and reception chairs, a signing table, a choice of arbour, dining tables and cocktail stations. Also included are professional staff, outdoor lounge furniture, festoon and dance-floor lighting, a champagne tower, candles, a tea and coffee station, lawn games, speakers and mic, gift and cake tables, and a two-hour rehearsal the day before.
