About Woodford Gardens
Set in the historic township of Woodford, about 50 minutes from Brisbane Airport and roughly the same from the Sunshine Coast, Woodford Gardens is a rustic garden venue built around established trees, manicured beds and open lawn. The white rotunda is the signature, strung with fairy lights and set against a wall of green.
The property previously ran as a cafe and now opens exclusively for private events, which is why the whole place is yours for the day rather than shared with day trippers. Exclusive hire runs up to seven hours, existing furniture seats up to 70, and there are multiple ceremony spots across the grounds so you are not locked into one backdrop.
The flexibility is the real draw. You can hire the venue and bring your own caterer, food truck or stylist, or hand the whole thing to Married by Bec on a curated package with celebrant, coordination and styling included. What's included at Woodford Gardens
- Format — exclusive venue hire for up to 7 hours; DIY packages let you bring your own suppliers, curated packages add celebrant, coordination and styling
- Catering — not provided; engage your own licensed caterer or food truck. Commercial kitchen access is available for a $330 hire fee
- Beverages — licensed venue, so no BYO drinks. Licensed bar staff and glassware are included with exclusive hire
- Ceremony — multiple garden locations, styled signing table and jute rug, wet weather backup and a water station
- Furniture — existing venue furniture for up to 70 seated guests, white tablecloths, fairy-lit rotunda, festoon-lit gardens and a wishing well
- Staffing — a venue supervisor is included; food service waitstaff are available at $45 per person per hour
- Accommodation — three on-site suites sleeping up to 6, two night minimum, booked directly with the venue
- Extras — additional venue hire at $275 per hour, $500 non-refundable deposit to secure a date, public holidays incur a 20% surcharge, all pricing includes GST
