Ninety acres of private riverside land on the Maroochy River gives The Rocks Yandina a whole property to work with, and it is booked exclusively, with no shared spaces. The river is the constant here: ceremonies on the lawns above it, dinner looking out over it, and photographs along its banks once the formalities are done. Indoor and outdoor spaces sit close together, so the whole day happens in one place rather than moving guests between locations.
The venue accommodates up to 300 guests. The Grove is the largest of the spaces, a relaxed grassy setting framed by trees, festoon lighting and a rustic timber bar, taking 300 seated or for cocktails. The Riverside Terrace is elevated and designed for sunset, seating 120 for dinner in the open air, while the River View Function Room seats 110 indoors with sweeping river views and audio-visual and sound available. The Green Room is a private styled space where the bridal party prepares, relaxes and takes photographs before the ceremony.
Catering is provided on site using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, with dietary requirements accommodated, and curated beverages served from the venue’s own bars form part of the wedding packages. Professional staff, furniture, decor and both ceremony and reception florals are included, which takes a considerable amount off the supplier list. On-site accommodation can be reserved for the couple or close family, so the evening does not have to end with a drive. The combination of exclusive use, riverside ceremony lawns and packages that cover styling and florals makes The Rocks Yandina an outstanding riverside wedding venue.
