The Gardens at Bullimah is a dedicated wedding venue at Elleker, between Albany and Denmark in the Great Southern. Its professionally designed gardens spread across 10 acres of former farmland, with ornamental lakes, perennial beds and rolling farm views. Everything happens on site, from morning preparations to the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, so there is no need for cars between locations. Guests can enjoy drinks and lawn games while the couple explore the gardens with their photographer.
The iconic Sunken Garden is the main ceremony space, holding about 150 guests around a karri arbour built over a limestone stage, with the garden, steps and arbour lit for dusk ceremonies. Other ceremony spots include the lakeside and an arbour beneath a tree with rolling hills behind. Receptions are held in Potters Well, a glass-walled room of polished concrete, natural wood and tall cathedral ceilings beside the ornamental lakes, with a deck and courtyard for the party to spill outside.
Packages range from elopements for up to 12 guests and intimate weddings for up to 50 through to a deluxe ceremony with a sit-down reception for up to 130 or a cocktail reception for up to 160. Each includes wedding coordination and on the day assistance, and most include a night in the on-site wedding suite with breakfast for the couple. Couples can bring their own drinks with no corkage.
