About Hillarys Yacht Club
Hillarys Yacht Club is a waterfront venue on the Indian Ocean at Hillarys, about 15 minutes north of the Perth CBD, hosting both wedding ceremonies and receptions. Couples can exchange vows on the boardwalk right over the water with panoramic marina views, and can even make a grand arrival by boat. Weddings range from a sunset cocktail reception on the boardwalk for 20 guests to a formal dinner dance for 280 family and friends.
There are three function rooms suited to wedding receptions. The Harbour Room seats 150 for a buffet or holds 300 cocktail style, the Marina Room seats 140 or holds 200 for cocktails, and the Reflections Room suits 40 seated or 80 for cocktails. The Harbour and Marina rooms both have a dance floor. Catering covers plated dinners, buffets and cocktail menus, with beverage packages and a bar tab option, and guests park free on site.
The boardwalk ceremony package reserves the centre section of the boardwalk, weather permitting, with chairs, a red carpet and a signing table, and arbours are available to hire. Dedicated wedding coordinators work with each couple on the details, and private viewing appointments can be arranged with the functions team. The club also hosts engagement parties, from small dinners where two families meet to large celebrations.
