Spread across 120 acres in the gap between Springbrook and Lamington National Parks, The Bower Estate is framed by dramatic cliff faces and valley views that run out to the horizon. The Gold Coast Hinterland landscape does most of the work, and because the property hosts one wedding at a time, the ceremony can be held wherever across the acreage suits the couple. Hillview was chosen for its sweeping hinterland outlook, The Fig Tree looks across to Springbrook National Park and takes the drinks that follow the vows, and The Pines Forest has become a very popular ceremony setting among the pines.
The estate accommodates up to 150 guests, seated for 120 or standing for 150 beneath a custom-built clear marquee roofed with fairy lights, included in select packages. If the sky opens, the Bower Cottage verandah becomes the ceremony location for up to 100 guests, umbrellas cover light showers, and relocation to the marquee is also possible. Day hire runs from 9am to 10pm with full exclusive use of the property, so the ceremony, photographs across the 120 acres and the reception all unfold at an unhurried pace.
Catering is not included at The Bower Estate. Couples bring in their own caterer, subject to pre-approval by the venue, and drinks are arranged through approved vendors with licensed RSA staff handling service, which is genuine freedom for couples who already have a caterer they trust. What the property does provide is contracted event coordination, with a coordinator managing the day and an online planning portal, along with signature Bower furniture, an on-site buggy, toilet facilities, and complimentary day use of Bower Cottage in the full wedding packages. The combination of national park scenery, exclusive use of 120 acres and included coordination makes The Bower Estate an outstanding Gold Coast Hinterland wedding venue.
