The Acre Boomerang Hills
An all-inclusive wedding venue featuring a restored 1902 reception barn and ceremony lawns surrounded by tropical gardens, 20 minutes from Gold Coast Airport.
About The Acre Boomerang Hills
The Acre is built around a barn that dates to 1902 and has been restored rather than replaced, sitting in tropical gardens at Mudgeeraba, 20 minutes from Gold Coast Airport. It runs as an all-inclusive venue, which means food, coordination and most of the furniture arrive as a single decision. Couples who find supplier wrangling exhausting tend to relax here quickly.
The day opens on the Ceremony Lawn, ringed by tropical planting, with a choice of timber or circle arbour and white ceremony benches provided. One thing to note: your celebrant needs to bring their own PA. Photographs usually head for the Rainforest Deck, while the Bridal Parlour handles the morning. The barn itself seats 130 or holds 150 for cocktails, with four-metre ceilings built for hanging installations, ceiling heaters, a fireplace and banquet tables. Overall venue numbers are not published, so confirm them on enquiry.
Catering is run by the venue, with farm-to-table menus from their own head chef and no tasting required. A dedicated wedding team provides planning support in the lead-up and coordination on the day, including set-up and pack-down of the venue’s inclusions. Two bridal buggies seating four, a wine barrel cake stand and a cake knife come with it. There is no accommodation on site, though a curated list of nearby options is provided. The Acre rates 4.7 from 141 Google reviews and publishes its own blog.

Our daughter had her wedding here on May 7, 2026. Brooke was so accommodating, professional with such a great 'can do' attitude. The venue itself is magical and everything the bride & groom could have asked for. The choices of areas for the ceremony are all…
Attended a wedding at The Acre Boomerang Farm in Mudgeeraba. My first time there and it was very tranquil. The ceremony took place in one of the front lawns under the arbor, and right as the couple said their vows, two kookaburras joined in. Couldn’t have…
