A private coastal retreat tucked into bushland minutes from the Noosa beaches, Senses Noosa North Shore feels more like a property handed over for the weekend than a function centre. Ceremony, reception and accommodation all sit in the one location, surrounded by nature, so the celebration can stretch across several days rather than a single afternoon. Ceremony settings sit alongside the retreat’s resort facilities, with the Village Green, an open gathering area designed for outdoor activities and events, at the centre of things.
Guest numbers are confirmed on enquiry, with ceremony and reception settings quoted to suit each wedding rather than sold from a fixed list, and the retreat caters for everything from intimate elopements through to larger celebrations. The Village Green anchors the outdoor gatherings, while pools, a spa, a tennis court, BBQ huts and games and lounge rooms sit around the edges, giving guests plenty to fill the days on either side of the ceremony.
Accommodation is the real draw, with luxury on-site homes in two, three and four bedroom configurations, so the guest list wakes up where the ceremony is held. A curated list of preferred suppliers covers celebrant, photography, music, hair and make-up and cake, which takes much of the searching out of the planning. Catering and bar arrangements are not published and are best confirmed with the retreat directly.
