RACV Royal Pines Resort
A resort with a chapel featuring Italian marble floors and stained-glass windows, three reception spaces and the Gold Coast's only 27-hole golf course.
About RACV Royal Pines Resort
Royal Pines has a chapel, which is rarer on the Gold Coast than you might think. Italian marble floors, stained-glass windows, and a permanent building that does not need to be dressed up to look like something it isn’t. Around it sits a full resort with the Gold Coast’s only 27-hole golf course, so the wedding lives inside a property that can absorb an entire weekend rather than a single afternoon.
The chapel seats 48 and doubles as the wet-weather backup if you choose the Garden Steps instead, which is set outdoors for 40 chairs. Receptions have two homes. The Royal Poinciana Room takes 60 to 120 seated or 250 for cocktails, and the Fairway Pavilion, the largest space here, runs 120 to 220 seated or 400 standing with the golf course beyond the windows. Ceremony hire includes three hours of pre-setup access, a registration table, seating, arbour, red carpet and a complimentary rehearsal.
Catering is in house across every reception package, with pre-dinner canapes, two to four course menus and the wedding cake, alongside beverage packages running three to five hours. A dedicated coordinator is assigned to you. The things resorts do well are here too: complimentary buggies for photographs around the grounds, dressed bridal and gift tables, lectern, microphone and dance floor, guest self-parking, and one complimentary night’s accommodation for the newlyweds. With rooms on site, guests stay put. Royal Pines holds 4.5 from more than 3,900 Google reviews. There is no wedding blog, so the enquiry is where the detail comes from.

A nice place for staying while visiting Gold Coast. Really nice atmosphere overall. But did see some issues when it came to rooms. Firstly, they provide a couple of free water bottles, only once per check in. So for people like us who stayed multiple nights…
We recently enjoyed a two-night getaway with my daughter to catch up with friends visiting from New Zealand, and it was such a treat. From the moment we arrived, it felt like we had escaped to an overseas resort—peaceful, beautifully maintained, and a world…
