The published wedding spaces are reception settings rather than ceremony sites, so ceremony arrangements are worth raising early in an enquiry. What the resort offers instead is scale and time, built to hold an entire weekend rather than a single evening, with a spa, tennis, a lagoon pool and a broad spread of accommodation all on the same grounds.
The resort accommodates up to 140 guests in the Noosa Sound Room, a stylish space with floor-to-ceiling windows over the lagoon pool and the sanctuary reserve. That room divides into two separate spaces, which lets couples keep dinner and dancing apart or run a lounge area alongside the main reception. For much smaller gatherings, the Undercover Terrace seats 24 for a reception lunch or dinner with pool views, and its windows open when the weather allows.
Catering is handled in-house, scaling from intimate gatherings through to banquet receptions for 140 guests, with a range of packages to work from. Professional event staff and wedding planners come with the resort rather than being engaged separately. Accommodation runs across suites, apartments, villas and private enclaves, and guests have access to One Spa, a floodlit tennis court, the lagoon pool and the gym, which turns the wedding into something closer to a short holiday for anyone travelling in. The combination of a conservation setting, lagoon-view reception spaces and complete resort facilities makes RACV Noosa Resort an outstanding all-in-one wedding venue.
