Set on 100 acres at Charlwood, just over an hour from Brisbane, Mount French Lodge is a beautiful setting for intimate weddings of up to 30 guests, with accommodation for up to 16 overnight guests.
A wedding should be about more than just one day. At Mount French you can slow things down, stay together and enjoy the whole experience, from the evening before, to the wedding day and the special morning after.
Begin your celebrations with a relaxed evening shared with your nearest and dearest. You can self-cater in the fully equipped guest kitchen, choose part-catering, or let the lodge take care of all your catering and beverages. Alternatively, head out and explore some of the Scenic Rim’s wonderful wineries and local restaurants. However you choose to spend it, there’s something magical about gathering together the night before, with good food, laughter and the beautiful Mount French surrounds setting the scene for what’s to come.
Wake refreshed in your private luxury apartment and take a quiet moment to enjoy the morning. As the sun rises over the Scenic Rim, step outside and take in the rolling hills, peaceful skies and fresh country air. Enjoy a slow, relaxed morning as you get ready and spend time with the people who matter most.
Then it’s time to celebrate. Exchange vows overlooking the mountains, followed by a beautiful wedding lunch or dinner on the lawn beneath the open sky, weather permitting, or in the Great Room. With the entire lodge exclusively yours, there’s no need to rush. Relax by the pool, gather around the fire pit, enjoy the grounds and simply be present in the moment.
Your wedding day may come to an end, but the celebration doesn’t have to. Their complimentary Wedding Recovery Experience gives you an additional full day and night with your in-house guests, subject to availability. It can be taken before or after your wedding stay, excluding Friday and Saturday nights. Wake up as newlyweds and enjoy a slow morning with your closest family and friends. Have breakfast together, take a swim, enjoy the views, relax around the lodge and relive all the special moments from the day before. It’s their gift to you, a chance to slow down, soak it all in and keep making memories together.
There’s no one-size-fits-all wedding at Mount French. You can self-cater, choose a part-catering option, or have the lodge take care of all your catering and beverages. The team can help you create the level of service that feels right for you and your celebration. For self-catering, a $30 per person, per day corkage fee applies. A minimum stay of two nights and four apartments is required for all wedding bookings.
