Perched on the beachfront at Coolum, this award-winning surf club looks straight out over the Pacific, with a view running from Point Perry north to Noosa National Park. The mood is easy and coastal, all salt air, open water and a horizon that shifts colour through the evening. Ceremonies take place either on the sand at Coolum Beach, arranged through a Sunshine Coast Council permit that the club helps to apply for, or on the expansive deck looking directly over the beach.
The Main Function Room accommodates around 120 guests for a reception, fully licensed with its own bar, air-conditioning, wheelchair access and a private bridal entrance. Smaller celebrations are held in the Small Functions Room, which suits 20 to 30 guests and has an intimate wedding package built around it. The deck can be booked separately as a ceremony site and doubles as the wet-weather backup, so the day stays at the water’s edge whatever the forecast. Overall venue capacity is confirmed on enquiry.
Catering is in-house and exclusive, every dish prepared from scratch by the club’s chefs using fresh local ingredients, with dietary dishes at no extra cost. Beverages come from the venue’s licensed bars only, offered as hourly packages or charged as consumed against a bar tab, and bringing outside alcohol is not permitted. A private wedding coordinator is assigned to each wedding, backed by a team experienced in running them. Packages include styling and decor, room hire and service charges, plus wedding-night accommodation for the couple at the Coolum Caprice across the road. The combination of an oceanfront outlook, inclusive packages and experienced in-house coordination makes Coolum Surf Club an outstanding beachfront wedding venue.

Enjoyed the views. Pizza was great. Not the cheapest at $27 for members, and $30 for non members for a surpreme. Fries looked amazing, though we didnt have any. Service was nothing remarkable in my view...but ok. Worth a visit for good food. See if ya can tag…
