Spread across 250 acres of high country near Crows Nest, Bunnyconnellen is an olive grove and vineyard on land that worked as a dairy long before it hosted weddings. Rolling hills run out in every direction, and ancient Moreton Bay figs shade the gardens where open-air ceremonies take place. Indoor ceremonies are equally an option, and both are included across the property’s three packages, so the forecast never has to decide the shape of the day.
Total guest numbers are confirmed on enquiry rather than published, and the estate is booked for exclusive use, with only a limited number of weddings held here each year. Ceremonies happen in the fig tree gardens, after which the celebration can go one of two ways. The Olive Grove suits long tables and outdoor receptions running out towards the high country, while the elegantly restored farm buildings from the property’s dairying era take the evening indoors. Cocktail hour and reception are included alongside the ceremony, and the whole wedding can be booked as a two-day experience with accommodation.
Catering comes either from the venue’s curated list of approved partners or from its own premium fine dining menu quoted into the package, with a commercial kitchen on site in either case. The bar is fully licensed and offers unlimited drinks packages, a cash bar or a bar tab, and BYO is not offered. On-the-day coordination, staffing, furniture, set-up and planning all sit within the base package, and accommodation for up to eight guests across the 1880s farmhouse and a self-contained cottage can be added. The combination of high country scenery, restored farm buildings and genuinely exclusive use makes Bunnyconnellen an outstanding country estate wedding venue.
