Eagle Farm was running races long before anyone thought to hold a wedding there, and the function spaces carry a heritage listing to prove it. As a Brisbane wedding setting it is genuinely unusual, closer in character to a private club than to a purpose-built reception room, and that suits some couples enormously.
The Legends Room is a sleek, spacious bar on the ground floor of Eagle Farm’s oldest grandstand. The Moreton Dining Room has its own furnished bar and flows out to a trackside lawn, which makes moving guests between inside and outside effortless. The Society Rooftop is a rooftop bar with views over the track, at its best under a setting sun or a starry night, and Stradbroke Plaza offers expansive gardens with paved walkways and shaded pergolas for anything you want held in the open.
