About Aberfeldy Barn

Set on a country property at Westbrook, about 20 minutes from Toowoomba, Aberfeldy Barn was custom-designed and built in 2019 for exactly this purpose. The style is luxe Hamptons rather than weathered farm shed, with custom barn doors, a dedicated dance floor, an inside bar and a stage for the bridal table, band or DJ. Most couples marry in front of the impressive custom barn doors, with The Point on the barn lawn overlooking the valley and The Terrace, an all-weather setting with its own bar, as the alternatives.

The venue accommodates up to 150 guests, with the barn set for ceremonies and receptions at that number and furniture supplied to match. A choice of three ceremony locations is included, along with white Americana seating and a signing table, so the setting can be decided as the forecast firms up. The Terrace is also where drinks and nibbles are served during photography, while The Loft, a climate-controlled mezzanine styled as a whiskey bar, is used for getting ready and then as a private retreat during the reception. Fifty acres are open for photographs.

Hire runs up to eight hours with exclusive use and one function per day. Catering is chosen from an approved caterer list and priced separately from venue hire, so couples set their own price point, with crockery, cutlery, service staff and complimentary cake cutting included. Beverages are BYO and poured by the venue’s RSA-qualified staff. Coordination is full service before and on the day, covering set-up, pack-down, unlimited correspondence and site visits, and styling, linens, lawn games, festoon lighting, a fire pit and AV with two roaming microphones come with the hire. The combination of purpose-built design, three ceremony settings and complete coordination makes Aberfeldy Barn an outstanding country barn wedding venue.
