Sinclair's Gully was established in 1997 and is a family-owned, award-winning sustainable winery set within a 20-acre nature sanctuary, about 20 minutes from the Adelaide CBD. It specialises in intimate weddings rather than large receptions: forest ceremonies, micro weddings and elopements, with vows exchanged beneath towering candlebark trees surrounded by wildlife and birdlife.
Packages are built around hours and guest numbers rather than a single format. The six-hour forest wedding and reception covers venue hire between 9am and 10pm for up to 100 guests. A five-hour micro wedding package runs any day for up to 60 guests, and a four-hour mid-week special runs Monday to Thursday between 10am and 6pm for up to 50. A three-hour Sunday to Friday option takes up to 100 guests, and a pop-up package combines a complete ceremony and food truck reception for up to 40 people, with extra guests to 80 at additional cost. Elopement packages cover three and a half hours of private hire for up to 30, and a two-hour option for the couple and up to 28 guests. In every case venue hire starts 30 minutes before the ceremony.
The setting is deliberately private, tranquil and secluded, and the winery is straightforward about pricing, positioning itself as an affordable option among Adelaide Hills venues.
