Pikes Wines occupies the Polish Hill River Estate in the Clare Valley, and the property is unusually complete for a wedding: a winery, a brewery, a cellar door and a restaurant all on the one estate, surrounded by sweeping vineyard views, rolling hills and manicured gardens.
Ceremonies use one of two settings. The Garden is a large manicured lawn lined with garden beds of flowers, backed by the estate's historic stone buildings. The Pruner's Hut is the intimate alternative, with breathtaking views over the estate vineyards, suitable for up to 20 people. The reception is held at SLATE Restaurant, a modern and elegant room set against the vineyards, with a spacious deck and sweeping views, comfortably hosting up to 80 seated or 100 for a cocktail reception.
The kitchen serves a contemporary Australian menu built on seasonal regional ingredients, paired with estate-grown Pikes wines and craft beers from Pikes Beer Co. Packages are flexible and all-inclusive, covering intimate through to larger weddings, and the experienced team coordinates the day.
