Parker Coonawarra Estate is an iconic winery in the heart of Coonawarra's terra rossa soils. The striking limestone cellar door, with its surrounding lawns and vines, holds both the ceremony and the reception, and the recently renovated multi-space cellar door is available for partial or full venue hire.
The Stillage is the main event space, designed as a multi-use room for large events including weddings. It returns the estate's barrel hall to its former glory, combining history and heritage with modern convenience: high ceilings, locally hewn limestone walls and an ironbark floor, fully climate controlled so it works in both winter and summer. The Tasting Room is the smaller, more intimate option, available for hire in the evenings, a light and open space with floor-to-ceiling windows out to the lawns and vines, a wood fire for winter and a well-stocked bar year round.
Two lawns wrap the cellar door. The east-facing Bailey Lawn and the north-facing Pepper Tree Lawn both look over the vines of the Abbey vineyard and are picture-perfect for outdoor events, though the estate is clear that the lawns are not a waterproof solution and are only available for hire as part of the Tasting Room.
