Glanville Hall is a heritage homestead with sprawling gardens at Semaphore, moments from the beach and an easy drive from the Adelaide CBD. The venue plays on its castle-like character: vows in the gardens, photographs beside the heritage barn and the towering fig tree, then eating, drinking and dancing beneath sparkling fairylights and chandeliers.
Ceremonies are held in the gardens, beneath the fig tree or inside the manor. Receptions run in several formats: elegant cocktail parties, glamorous seated dinners, daytime breakfast, lunch or high tea receptions, indoor-outdoor receptions with grazing tables, wood-fired pizzas and street foods, and marquee receptions on the sweeping lawns with the castle as the backdrop. The flexible floor plan means the manor can host events of most styles, sizes and budgets.
Glanville Hall sells luxury all-inclusive packages rather than bare hire, and is clear that the venue is not available for BYO or venue hire only: the detailed packages cover food, beverage, venue hire and staff together.
