The Adelaide Pavilion sits in Veale Gardens on the southern edge of Adelaide's green belt, at the corner of South Terrace and Peacock Road. It is a purpose-built function centre with floor-to-ceiling panoramic views over the South Park Lands, a tranquil setting a few minutes from the city. It has a long run of ABIA recognition, including Winner of Reception Venue at the SA ABIA Awards in 2015 and 2017 and Winner of Function Coordinator in 2018.
There are two rooms, used individually or combined, covering small intimate occasions through to 300 guests. The Parkview Room is the larger at 263 square metres, taking approximately 220 for a wedding, 250 banquet or 300 cocktail, and it has a 25 square metre parquetry dance floor. The Terrace Room is 160 square metres with six to seven metre ceilings, taking approximately 95 for a wedding, 110 banquet or 150 cocktail. Both rooms are climate controlled with reverse cycle air-conditioning and come with wireless handheld and lapel microphones.
The team helps with room selection against your guest numbers, works through the timing and planning of the day, and closer to the reception sends seating arrangement forms so staff can usher guests to their tables. On the day they place your place cards, bonbonniere and centrepieces, and set up the gift or lolly table. Wedding packages include room hire, on-site car parking subject to availability, skirting of the cake, gift and bridal tables, two personalised menus per table and full table settings of cutlery, crockery and glassware.
