Adam Jackson is the celebrant and MC behind Weddings With Adam, based in Melbourne. He works closely with couples to create fun, heartfelt and personalised ceremonies that reflect who they are, whether that means traditional, quirky, relaxed or something completely outside the box. His site says he has more than 150 weddings and six years of celebrant experience behind him, and he guides couples through both the ceremony writing and the legal paperwork.

His background is in performing. Adam has spent nearly 20 years creating and performing shows, mostly children's theatre touring schools around the country, and he has toured globally as a dancer in kids' shows, including turns as Big Bird, an Octonaut and Wags the Dog. He is also a host and quizmaster who runs murder mysteries, so speaking in front of a crowd comes naturally. He became interested in weddings after marrying his wife in 2015.

The process starts with a consultation over coffee or Zoom. From there Adam handles the legal requirements and writes a ceremony that suits the couple, with room for any readings, rituals or elements they want, plus unlimited drafts on his personalised option. On the day he brings his own battery-powered PA with multiple microphones and speakers, so music works anywhere. He loves out-of-the-ordinary weddings and offers costumed and in-character celebrant options for themed ceremonies.

Adam also works as a reception MC, playing games, running speeches and dances and keeping guests entertained, and couples can book him for both the ceremony and the reception. He has married couples across Melbourne, the Yarra Valley, the Mornington Peninsula, the Dandenong Ranges, the Nagambie region and Geelong, and is happy to travel further for a great love story. He also conducts naming ceremonies and vow renewals.
