About Tatra Receptions
Tatra Receptions sits high in the Mount Dandenong Ranges on more than ten acres of cultivated gardens that trace back to the late 1800s. Ancient blue gums, waterfalls, a wrought-iron bridge and a rustic amphitheatre thread through dappled forest pathways, with hydrangeas, rhododendrons and magnolias giving the grounds year-round colour.
Family-owned and run exclusively as a wedding venue for over two decades, Tatra hosts just one wedding a day, so couples have the estate and its gardens to themselves. Ceremonies can take place outdoors at the Cupola or Gazebo, tucked amongst the forest and gardens, or indoors in the Chapel, where floor-to-ceiling glass frames the surrounding ranges above hand-crafted timber pews.
Receptions move into a neutral-toned ballroom warmed by cosy wood fireplaces, opening onto a pre-dinner lounge and garden bar for guests to spill outside between courses. A seasonal, fresh-produce menu paired with a Yarra Valley beverage package, day-coordinator support and ample free parking round out the estate's all-in-one approach to a Dandenong Ranges wedding.
