She aims to keep everything from the legal paperwork to the walk down the aisle as stress free, fun and relaxed as possible, and describes herself as friendly, caring and a little bit cheeky.
Sherine grew up where the bush meets the sea in Mallacoota and now lives in Bayside Melbourne with her family. She has been happily married to Damien for 24 years and they have two sons. After being a bridesmaid six times, it was Damien who kept telling her she would make the best marriage celebrant, and once her footy mum weekends eased off she took the leap. She is a big dog lover and supports Victoria's Weimaraner Rescue from every full wedding ceremony.
She offers three wedding options: legals only, intimate elopements and full wedding ceremonies. Packages cover all meetings and communication, the legal paperwork, a personalised ceremony with help choosing readings and vows, a bound copy of your ceremony, printed vow cards and online registration of your marriage. Elopements and full weddings add her Mipro PA system and an optional rehearsal the week before. She also loves a surprise ceremony and is great at keeping a secret.
Being by the water is a favourite, so she is happy to travel to the Mornington and Bellarine Peninsulas and the Gippsland coast, as well as wineries in the Yarra Valley, the Dandenong Ranges and the Central Victorian goldfields. As an authorised celebrant she can marry couples anywhere in Australia, so destination weddings are welcome. Beyond weddings she conducts baby naming, family unity and memorial ceremonies, and she is a member of the Australian Federation of Civil Celebrants.
