Balgownie Estate is a luxury wine-country destination in Yarra Glen, spanning over 75 acres of vineyards, lush gardens and sweeping valley vistas. It is one of the most complete Yarra Valley wedding venues, combining a working winery, restaurant, cellar door, boutique accommodation and day spa on one estate.
Couples can exchange vows against a backdrop of rolling vines before celebrating in one of the estate's elegant reception rooms. The Melba Room and Anderson Room each host up to 180 guests cocktail-style, with flexible traditional, feasting and cocktail styling to suit intimate gatherings or larger celebrations.
With 70 rooms and suites on-site, many with private balconies and valley views, wedding guests can stay the night, while Restaurant 1309 serves estate wines and modern-Australian dining and the on-site day spa offers relaxation before and after the day.
