Waterview sits inside Bicentennial Park at Sydney Olympic Park, a purpose-built function venue wrapped in floor-to-ceiling glass that looks out over the park's ponds, reeds and lakes. It is one of the most flexible wedding venues in Parramatta, with six configurable spaces running from the 130-guest Bel Parco up to the entire venue at 850 banquet or 1,500 cocktail.
The Lake and Park rooms take the middle ground - the Lake Room seats 420 with a dance floor or holds 700 for cocktails, and the Park Room seats 240 or holds 540 - all with ceiling heights between 4.6 and 6.6 metres. An outdoor undercover terrace is used for pre-dinner drinks and canapes, and each space has its own permanent bar.
Three wedding packages are published. The Platinum package starts from $110 per person and is catered in-house, running 5.5 hours with pre-dinner canapes, a five-hour beverage package, a three-course alternate menu and a professional DJ. Two cultural packages start from $100 per person for a reception and $80 per person for a 4.5-hour ceremony, both of which require an external Gold Licence caterer rather than the in-house kitchen.
