About Tippettures

Tippettures is the caricature business of Sydney artist Mark Tippett, who walks around a wedding reception drawing guests at their tables so everyone leaves with a personal keepsake. Each A4 black and white caricature is drawn live on pre-printed art paper in a few minutes, at around 15 to 18 drawings an hour, with singles, couples or small groups on each page. Mark will even step onto the dance floor to capture the moment, and also draws at engagement and hen's parties.

Three wedding packages build on the live drawing. Package A is the live caricatures as take home gifts, Package B adds a poster size full colour caricature of the couple for guests to sign at the reception, and Package C adds caricature invitations, tailored menus, place settings, napkins and party decorations, quoted for each wedding. For a proposal, Mark can also draw a unique Will You Marry Me card onsite at a location of the couple's choice.

Mark's art career spans nearly 30 years as a commercial artist, art director and published author, and he holds a Degree in Fine Arts. He has been a finalist in the Bald Archy Prize 13 times, and couples have booked him for receptions at Pier One in Walsh Bay, Bendooley Estate in Berrima and Cottage Point. Live bookings are charged at an hourly rate, with travel extra outside Sydney.
