The Wedding and Event Creators, known as The Wedding Creators, is a wedding planning, coordination, styling and hire business based in Gerringong on the NSW South Coast. The team has spent more than ten years helping couples plan South Coast weddings, and also covers the Shoalhaven, Southern Highlands and Illawarra. Couples can book an end to end service covering planning, styling, hire, coordination, set up and pack up, or simply hire a few props.
Planning comes as full or partial packages, with supplier recommendations and quote sourcing, run sheets, mood boards, floor plans and styling advice, plus one hour phone consultations for couples who just need a sounding board. On the day, the coordinators set up the ceremony and reception styling, liaise with suppliers and the MC, greet guests and troubleshoot weather or other surprises. A next day pack up service is available to styling and coordination clients at DIY and BYO venues.
The hire range covers ceremony arbours, seating, signing tables, furniture, tabletop styling, cocktail hour furniture, lighting, lawn games and neon signs, and most items are also available as DIY hire with pick up from Gerringong. Owner Vanessa leads a team of coordinators and stylists, and the business also runs The Gelato Bike.
