The Wedding Cinematographer is a collective of professionally trained wedding cinematographers and videographers with a head office in Newcastle West. The team films weddings across Newcastle, the Hunter Valley and Sydney, and has made wedding films for couples all over Australia. On the day they keep things relaxed and fun, blending in with guests and looking for the candid in between moments that work so well on film.
Head of cinematography Zac Heath started out filming in the ocean for surf brands and has also worked on fashion campaigns. Every film is edited to suit the look and feel of the wedding, tied together with snippets of vows and speeches and well chosen music. Options run from low fuss elopement and micro wedding coverage with one cinematographer to full day coverage with two cinematographers, drone footage and social media edits.
Extras include real Super 8 film for a nostalgic look, a highlights and social package, full length ceremony and speeches edits, and additional hours of coverage. The team focuses on film only and recommends photographer friends such as Hungry Hearts Co. Recent films from weddings at The Lodge in Jamberoo and in Newcastle are on their YouTube channel.
