The River Deck Cafe is an award-winning restaurant on Noreuil Parade in Albury, set on the banks of the Murray River. By day it serves breakfast and lunch seven days a week, and it also runs a functions offering for private events. The restaurant describes the riverside spot as one of Albury's most iconic locations, with unbeatable views for guests to enjoy while they dine.
Weddings are listed among the events the team hosts, alongside birthdays, Christmas parties, dinners and business events. The venue can hold up to 120 guests inside, and couples planning something larger can talk to the team about using the space around the building. A dedicated event team works with each host on the details, and the full functions package is sent out when you enquire rather than published online.
Food is the centre of the experience. Function menus are modern Australian and built around natural, native and local ingredients sourced from farmers and producers across Albury, Wodonga and the surrounding region, with paired beverages. The restaurant has collected a string of awards over the years, including Gold at the NSW Tourism Awards in 2019 and 2021 and Gold at the Riverina Murray Tourism Awards in 2016, 2018 and 2019.
