About The Ranch Adventure Park

The Ranch is a family-run adventure park set across 200 acres of rolling hills in Boneo on the Mornington Peninsula, with Bass Strait in the background. Alongside horse riding, mountainboarding and camps, it hosts weddings in an Old West themed setting that feels like a little town. Couples have access from 3:30pm on Friday until 11am on Sunday, so the wedding can become a whole weekend, with onsite log cabins for guests and activities to enjoy.

The Ranch is a DIY venue: couples organise their own catering and alcohol, whether that is a sit-down grazing feast or a food truck, and The Ranch provides the backdrop along with a list of recommended caterers. Ceremonies can be held in the sandstone Chapel or at one of many outdoor spots, receptions in the rustic wooden barn, and there is a vast open space for a tipi or marquee. The recommended capacity is 120 seated or 150 cocktail.

For couples who would rather skip the DIY, The Ranch offers setup packages for a range of budgets, cleaning packages and prop hire, and can recommend local stylists. Guests can stay in the onsite cabins, each sleeping up to eight, and enjoy a bacon and egg roll with tea or coffee the morning after. Marquee weddings can accommodate more guests than the recommended capacity. Compare it with the other Victorian wedding venues.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The beautifully maintained property was perfect for the kids who loved patting the chickens and learning about the horses. The incredibly kind host made our experience even more special. We’ll definitely return and highly recommend it. This is truly our dream…

I didn’t realise how beautiful this place is until we arrived for our school holiday session. The kids had a lovely day doing the activities followed by horse riding and I was so impressed with the how well organised it all was. Love that you can order their lunch at the canteen for them later…
