The Master Celebrant is Peter Sinclair, a civil marriage celebrant working across Byron Bay, Ballina, the Gold Coast and the Northern Rivers. In his own words, he is the guy who does all the legal stuff so you do not have to worry about it. His approach is relaxed, personal and non-religious, although he loves including rituals for couples who have them, and he aims for a day filled with laughs, love and no hassle.
Planning starts with a catch-up over a coffee, or a drink if you prefer, to talk through what you want for your day. Peter asks about everything from what your partner is wearing and who will be holding the rings to how many people are in your bridal party and where the celebration is. He then takes your love story and writes a ceremony script that is solely for and about the two of you.
On the day he supplies his own Bose PA system with a microphone so your guests do not miss a thing, while intimate ceremonies and elopements can go ahead without any amplification. Peter says he has an uncanny way of making guests feel welcome, comfortable and excited about the day. After the formalities he lodges all of the paperwork on your behalf. Ceremonies featured on his site include the Ballina lighthouse, Sugar Beach Ranch in South Ballina and a small wedding at home.
Beyond the ceremony, Peter works as a Master of Ceremonies, describing himself as a confident, professional public speaker who can keep a wedding reception organised and running smoothly, and he is available for other public events too. He also conducts funerals, offering a modern Celebration of Life service arranged in conjunction with the funeral home.
