A private 37-acre ranch near the beaches of Bawley Point on the NSW South Coast, hired exclusively for multi-day weddings of up to 180 guests with cabins for 40.
The Jackson Ranch by Bannisters is a 37-acre private property in Bawley Point on the NSW South Coast, about 3.5 hours from Sydney and 2 hours from Canberra. Couples take over the whole Ranch for multi-day weddings, with tree-lined vistas, glimpses of Lake Willinga and nearby beaches as the backdrop. Ten onsite cabins, from the four-bedroom Homestead to the forest Glamping Suite, sleep up to 40 guests, so the celebration can run from welcome drinks to a farewell brunch.
Ceremonies can be held at the timber Garden Arbour overlooking Lake Willinga, along the Forest Runway, on the Terrace, on The Greens or inside The Jackson Room, which doubles as the wet weather option. Receptions of up to 180 seated guests sit under the clear marquee on the Marquee Terrace, while The Jackson Room seats 90. After the vows, guests gather under the sperry tent on The Greens, and the night winds down with a nightcap in the Saloon Bar.
All catering is done in-house by the Ranch's events team, with canapés, share-style or alternate-serve menus, and the venue is fully licensed. Packages such as the two-night Jackson Classic and the three-night JR Experience include the cabins, marquee, sperry tent, hire furniture and a venue coordinator, while couples bring their own stylist, florist, photographer, celebrant and entertainment. Micro weddings for 30 to 50 guests are also available. Compare it with the other NSW wedding venues.
