About Tanilba House
Tanilba House (1831) is one of Port Stephens' most distinctive heritage Port Stephens wedding venues — a beautifully restored sandstone manor on the banks of Tanilba Bay. The house dates from 1831 with verandahs, shutters and formal gardens that survived the original construction.
Ceremonies are held on the front lawn with the manor's classical sandstone facade as backdrop. The setting is impossible to replicate at any newer venue.
Receptions take place inside the historic manor for intimate weddings, or in a marquee on the lawn for larger gatherings. The venue's heritage features make for photography that's unique in the region.
