Tamborine Mountain Glades, formerly known as Cedar Creek Lodges, spans 114 hectares of subtropical rainforest and open woodland beside Tamborine National Park, in the Scenic Rim and Gold Coast hinterland. Weddings bring the ceremony, reception, dining and accommodation together on the one property along Cedar Creek, so nobody needs to drive anywhere between the vows and the last song. The property is about an hour from Brisbane and 45 minutes from the Gold Coast.
Ceremonies are held at the Rainforest Amphitheatre, which is covered and seats 80 guests tiered with room for 32 more on the stage, or at The Circles, a fully outdoor space set with tiffany chairs. Guests then gather at Lawn Bar beside the creek for drinks and canapés, and receptions follow at Island Glade, indoors at The Sanctuary or at Miner's Lantern. The wedding precinct is yours alone for the day, as only one wedding is hosted each day.
There are three ways to celebrate: a Micro Wedding for up to 32 guests, the Rainforest Package for 30 to 130 guests, and Ceremony Only for 2 to 130 guests. Both full packages include two nights of bridal accommodation, seven hours of venue hire, food and beverages and a dedicated coordinator on the day. Guests can stay onsite in Vista Suites, Woodlands Glamping, Lodges or Hillside Rooms, and pets are welcome to join the day. Compare it with the other Queensland wedding venues.
