Sydney Eleanor for Hire supplies a fully restored 1967 Shelby GT500 'Eleanor' fastback Mustang, the car made famous by Gone in 60 Seconds, with a chauffeur for weddings across Sydney and surrounding areas.
Sydney Eleanor for Hire was formed out of a passion for Mustangs, and for the Eleanor model in particular. The car is a 1967 Shelby GT500 fastback, a model of which only 500 rolled off the production line that year, which makes it a rarity in Australia and in the USA. Sourced in California by a Mustang broker, it had a complete bottom up restoration and rebuild in Australia, with every facet of the car brought back to specification.
Weddings are the headline service. The chauffeur driven Eleanor is pitched as the wedding car no one else has, bold with sleek sporty lines, big engine muscle and retro cool, and the site's hire conditions are written around the wedding day, from checking the booking sheet to paying the balance a week out. The same car is in demand for school formals, corporate events, photoshoots, film and television work and joy rides for Mustang enthusiasts.
Booking runs in four steps: enquire with the date, location and package, receive a personalised quote and confirmation, plan timings and special requests together, then enjoy the day. The car has featured in a Cosmopolitan photoshoot and is offered as a 60 minute Shelby GT500 experience drive around the Sydney CBD through RedBalloon. The site also mentions plans to add a convertible Eleanor to the fleet.

Hired Eleanor hire for our wedding and even with the storm it was such a perfect add to the day. Such an easy and great reliable company to work with. The rain didn't stop them from being there and making it special.
