Sweet Rides Australia is a classic and muscle car hire business serving the Illawarra, South Coast, Shoalhaven, Southern Sydney and the Southern Highlands, with bookings starting from Calderwood. Victor drives many of the weddings himself, and couples describe him and his crew as friendly, punctual and happy to help with bags, photos and last minute changes. The cars are also available for formals and special events.
The garage includes a '66 Ford Thunderbird, a '64 Holden EH Premier, a '65 Mustang, a '56 Chev, a '68 Holden HK Premier, a '67 Oldsmobile and a 2019 Camaro, with convertible, all white and baby seat options. Every car comes with satin wedding ribbons, and the drivers dress in black pants, a white shirt and black tie. Couples are welcome to arrange a visit to kick the tyres before they book.
Each wedding car carries a well stocked boot with a chilled esky, light snacks, first aid and sewing kits, sunscreen, umbrellas, ponchos, towels and phone chargers, and couples can add chilled champagne or beer and a professional cheese platter for their photo shoot. Real weddings on the site include Nici and Tom, Courtney and Riley, and Toni and Sam.
