Sunshine Coast Celebrants is the business of Steven Murray, a Sunshine Coast marriage celebrant who admits he has been told he is addicted to weddings. He has 30 years' experience as a celebrant, and before that he worked as a wedding photographer, so he knows how a wedding day flows from both sides of the camera. He describes himself as a cool male celebrant who wears amazing bow ties, and promises to have one glass of bubbles once you are married.

Steven's aim is to take as much stress as possible out of getting married. Ceremonies should be full of fun, love, laughter and some heartfelt tears, and he encourages couples to be different rather than doing what everyone else does. He provides lots of ideas and samples, helps with personal vows, and can build in rituals such as ring warming, sand ceremonies or candles. He looks after all the legal paperwork, lodges it with the registry afterwards and is available whenever you want to chat.

His packages range from a short registry style wedding for two to ten guests, to a No Frills ceremony for around ten to thirty guests, to the Complete Ceremony with a fully customised script, as many readings as you like and a rehearsal. Couples receive one fee that covers everything, and his sound system and microphones come along to play your music. He specialises in small, intimate and elopement weddings, and also works as a wedding MC to keep receptions running on time.

Steven marries couples anywhere on the Sunshine Coast, the Hinterland and Noosa, and describes himself as a Maleny celebrant too, with a small travel fee for some areas. Because the Sunshine Coast has no registry office, he offers fast, simple weddings at off-peak times in a location of your choice. His blog covers local ceremony spots from Flaxton Gardens and The Old Dairy in Maleny to Yandina Station, Stonebridge Gardens and Twin Waters.
