Studio Zanetti is a Redfern photography studio led by Michael Zanetti, photographing natural, candid weddings across Sydney since 2001.
Studio Zanetti is a photography studio in a terrace in Redfern, close to Central and the Sydney CBD, led by award-winning photographer Michael Zanetti. He set up the studio in 2001 and has photographed hundreds of weddings since. His approach is relaxed and unobtrusive: he works discreetly through the day and focuses on real people and genuine, unposed moments, so the photos show the day as it actually happened. Couples are invited to visit the studio to see more work.
Studio Zanetti is gay owned and operated and runs a dedicated service for Sydney's LGBT+ couples. Since 2001 he has photographed commitment ceremonies and same-sex families, long before marriage equality became law in November 2017. Recent wedding stories include two grooms at Catalina in Rose Bay, two brides at Gunners' Barracks and a harbourside wedding at The Public Dining Room in Balmoral. He won several Australian Bridal Industry Awards for wedding photography between 2006 and 2013.
Packages run from short digital-only coverage of the key moments through to full-day coverage of up to 12 hours with a 30x30cm bespoke album and a two-hour engagement session. Every package includes professionally edited images on a USB in a personalised wooden box, and the fuller packages add a pre-wedding planning session and a private online gallery with free guest downloads. Second photographer Mitchell Martinez joined the studio in 2025.
