Storyteller Films have been filming south east Queensland weddings for more than fifteen years in a cinematic but personal style.
Storyteller Films work out of Salisbury and have been filming south east Queensland weddings since 2008, which is a long run in a field where a lot of studios last a few seasons. The studio is run by Scott Thomas, and it is his own hands on the cameras rather than a rotating crew.
The films are cinematic without tipping into the overproduced. Coverage is shot in 4K on multiple cameras with professional audio and colour grading, plus drone footage where the venue and the airspace allow it. Films are delivered on USB alongside online gallery access.
Published packages run from around $1,400 for ceremony-only coverage with a short edit, up to $3,500 for ten hours and a feature film of eight to thirteen minutes. Combined photo and film packages sit between roughly $1,950 and $4,100 depending on the hours booked and the number of edited photos.
Venues they film at regularly include Gabbinbar Homestead, The Old Dairy Maleny, Glengariff, Hillstone St Lucia, Sirromet and St Stephen's Cathedral, and they travel to the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba and northern New South Wales.
