Simply Divine Occasions is a multi award winning Brisbane cake studio founded by Natasha in 2016, hand crafting custom designed buttercream wedding cakes from a licensed commercial kitchen in Chuwar.
Simply Divine Occasions began in 2016 and has grown into what the site calls one of Brisbane's most celebrated and multi award winning names in cakes. Owner and cake artist Natasha found her love of edible artistry in 2010 and honed her skills in a small Ipswich bakehouse. Today she says she feels privileged to design wedding cakes that become the centrepiece of the day, working closely with each couple so the design reflects the tone of their celebration.
Every cake is made to order in a purpose built, licensed commercial kitchen that holds a 5 star rating under Brisbane City Council's Eat Safe program. The cakes are finished in signature buttercream rather than fondant, in smooth, semi naked or textured styles with hand piped florals, palette knife work and stencilling, and the menu runs from vanilla bean and mud cakes to a deluxe range and gluten free and vegan options.
Couples can buy a tasting box to sample the menu, and once booked can meet Natasha for a private 45 minute design consultation. Recent cakes have gone to Stamford Plaza, Hillstone St Lucia, Walkabout Creek, InterContinental Sanctuary Cove and White Chapel at Kalbar, including a five tier floating cake for Austinvilla Estate. Natasha also works with your florist on fresh flowers.
