Simply Cakes Melbourne
Simply Cakes Melbourne is a Bonbeach cake maker creating customised tiered wedding cakes, from smooth buttercream and gold leaf to fondant ruffles and fresh flowers, in a kitchen registered with Kingston City Council.
About Simply Cakes Melbourne
Simply Cakes Melbourne is based in Bonbeach in Melbourne's south east and bakes from a kitchen registered with the Kingston City Council. The business makes customised cakes for weddings, birthdays, christenings and other occasions, and says it uses the highest quality ingredients. Every cake is quoted individually: couples send the date, serving size and a picture or link of the look they like, and a free quote comes back by email. At least two weeks notice is needed.
The wedding gallery shows a broad range of styles, including smooth Swiss meringue buttercream with marbling, semi naked cakes with gold leaf and fresh blooms, white fondant with ruffles, and tall gold and white designs with a custom monogram and sugar magnolias. The flavour list runs from chocolate, white chocolate and salted caramel mud cakes to red velvet, lemon and carrot, plus Indonesian favourites such as lapis legit, lapis Surabaya and a pandan klepon cake.
Simply Cakes Melbourne's work has been featured by Wedded Wonderland, White Magazine, The Wedding Playbook, Harper & Co. and Lovestruck Invitations, and the business notes a five star rating on Easy Weddings. Alongside tiered cakes it makes cupcakes, cake pops, cookies, cakesicles and macarons, which can round out a dessert table, and there is an online shop for slab cakes, tiered cakes and delivery.
