Shane Keri Dance is a Sydney wedding dance studio where Shane and Keri choreograph personalised first dances for couples, in person in Miranda, at your location or online.
Shane Keri Dance, also known as SKDance, creates personalised wedding dance lessons for couples in Sydney and around the world. Every routine is choreographed to the couple's chosen song, style and comfort level, and adjusted to suit the venue space, so the first dance feels natural rather than a hug and sway. Lessons cover the first dance as a married couple, parent dances, bridal party routines and grand entrances, and a classic bridal waltz is just as welcome as a fun, unexpected routine.
Couples can learn in person at the SKDance home space in Miranda, book mobile lessons where the instructors come to them, or learn from anywhere through live virtual lessons and online courses. Daytime, evening and weekend sessions are scheduled personally around each couple, and practice videos help between lessons. Packages run from four to ten hours of lessons, with the ten hour package suggested for most couples and as the minimum for a mash up, flash mob or group performance.
Shane and Keri bring more than 30 years of teaching experience across Ballroom, Latin, Swing, Country, Club and Solo dance. Shane was a featured soloist in the opening and closing ceremonies of the Sydney Olympics, Keri ran her own dance studio in Denver for 20 years, and together they are two time second place world title holders in West Coast Swing. Alongside weddings they run private coaching, workshops and monthly dance parties.
