SCR Music is a Sydney wedding music company, based in Dee Why, that brings acoustic duos, DJs and live bands together in one plan, so the ceremony, canapés and dance floor are all handled by the same team. Bookings are usually looked after by Cameron, and couples deal with the same person from enquiry through to the wedding day.
Their roster includes duos such as Glenn & Dom, Summer & Michael and Anika & Josh, the six-piece band Midnight Hour and five-piece The Girls, plus DJs. Ceremony music is timed to the aisle walk and signing, three ceremony songs are learnt at no extra cost, and the first dance can be played live. A battery-powered speaker covers beach, garden and bush ceremonies without power.
Packages run from an acoustic duo for the ceremony and canapés, to a duo followed by a DJ from the first dance until late, to a full live band for the reception. DJs bring their own gear and lighting and take up to 100 requested songs plus a do-not-play list. They perform across Sydney, the Hunter Valley, Southern Highlands and Blue Mountains.
