Sandra Hill received her registration as a marriage celebrant in 2008 and has been designing ceremonies for Brisbane couples ever since. She specialises in warm and loving ceremonies presented in a friendly, happy and graceful manner. Because of the significance of the occasion, her ceremonies carry a certain formality and dignity, balanced with warmth, sincerity and friendliness. She offers both civil and Christian wedding ceremonies, so couples looking for a Christian celebrant can have a ceremony that reflects their beliefs and values.
Her site notes she has been an Australian Bridal Industry Academy (ABIA) finalist every year since 2017, with couple feedback scores of 99, 98 and 97 per cent, and a Top 10 Brides Choice Awards placing in Brisbane in 2019, 2020 and 2021. Planning starts with a complimentary, no obligation first meeting, where she explains the legal requirements, completes your Notice of Intended Marriage and talks through your options.
Couples choose between three ceremony packages, from legals only and elopement ceremonies through to the Emerald and Diamond wedding packages with a questionnaire, readings, poems, prayers, blessing of the hands ideas and a wedding checklist. The full packages include a rehearsal, lodgement of all legal paperwork, a presentation marriage certificate, a printed copy of your ceremony and use of her PA system. She arrives at least an hour early and usually presents only one ceremony a day.
Sandra is available seven days a week and works across Brisbane, the Redlands, the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast and their hinterlands, Mt Tamborine and Ipswich, with travel included in her fee. Her blog features weddings at venues such as Sirromet, RACV Royal Pines Resort and the heritage listed Broadway Chapel. She also presents renewals of vows, baby naming ceremonies and funeral services.
