About Relish Studio
Relish Studio is the live wedding painting studio of Charlotte Pelletier, an Adelaide based painter originally from France who spent more than a decade in the French countryside. Charlotte paints in an impressionist style with thick, textured oil brushstrokes, capturing the light, the atmosphere and the feeling of the day more than an exact copy of it. The style takes its cues from old masters such as Monet, Pissarro and Renoir.
On the wedding day Charlotte arrives about two hours before guests, sets up an easel with a view of the ceremony and stays around four to five hours, often painting until sunset while guests wander over to watch. The couple are painted in later from favourite photos, and the piece is refined over about 40 hours in the McLaren Vale studio. Finished paintings usually take six to eight weeks and are hand delivered, sometimes with a little reveal.
There is one package with everything included: planning, painting, framing and hand delivery. It can be booked by the couple, gifted by family or a bridal party, or painted from photos after the wedding. Relish Studio covers Adelaide, the Adelaide Hills, McLaren Vale and the Barossa, works with destination couples, ships finished paintings anywhere in Australia or overseas, and travels further when transport and accommodation are provided.
