Red Door Studios is a Bulimba studio with more than a decade of Brisbane weddings behind it, filming in a cinematic, emotion-led style.
Red Door Studios film out of Bulimba and have been covering Brisbane weddings for close to thirteen years. Phil, who runs the studio, puts the count at around five hundred weddings filmed, which is a substantial body of work in a field where a lot of studios last only a few seasons.
The films lean cinematic and are cut around the emotional beats of the day rather than a fixed running order. Phil's stated aim is to blend into the day and hold on to the nerves, the laughter, the tears and the celebrations, so the coverage is built around what actually happens rather than worked through as a shot list.
Alongside photography and film they offer live streaming, which is worth knowing if you have family who cannot travel to the day. They work across Brisbane and out to the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast and the hinterland towns including Montville and Maleny.
