About Pulse Band
Pulse Band is an Adelaide live band owned and managed by Tony Genovese, who holds a Bachelor of Education in Music and has more than thirty years in the music industry. The band features male and female lead and backing vocals and plays songs from the 1950s through to current Top 40 hits, across pop, rock, blues, rock n roll, Italian, jazz, jive, soul and swing.
For weddings, Pulse Band can cover the whole day: live music for the ceremony, a solo, duo or trio for canapes and cocktails, then a four or five-piece band for the reception, with a dedicated live wedding dance song. The classic line-up has guitar, bass guitar, keyboards and drums, and extra instruments can turn it into a six to eight-piece big band. They also supply sound and lighting for speeches.
Pulse Band won the 2013 ABIA award for Best Band / Live Group and has been a runner-up in many other years. They play regularly at wedding venues including The Grand Ballroom, Rydges South Park Adelaide, where they are the resident band, and Mount Lofty House. Tony works with each couple on the song list and the band can take on MC duties too.
