Peter Bray, known to his couples as Pete, is a marriage celebrant and MC who describes himself as a husband, father, Griffon owner, bow tie wearer and a bit of a geek. He covers Sydney, the Central Coast and the Hunter Valley, and says no wedding destination is off the cards. His tagline sums up the aim: a celebrant bringing the fun and the feels.

Pete has spent a lot of time on microphones over the years, as a radio announcer, as an MC at events and running tours around Europe. Being handy on the mic, and happy to have a bit of fun, led friends and family to ask him to play different roles at their weddings. He loved it so much that he became an authorised celebrant, which he jokes also justifies his pocket square collection.

Couples choose him for ceremonies that are energetic, meaningful and on point. The process starts with a getting-to-know-you call, then a deeper session with a questionnaire for each partner about how you met and what you want from the day. You can pick from his library of ceremonies or build yours from scratch, and he handles the NOIM and lodges the paperwork with Births, Deaths and Marriages afterwards.

Pete only ever books one wedding per day, arrives early, and brings his own PA if needed. He can also MC your reception, so one familiar voice carries you from the vows through to the speeches.
