Nikola Janev Photography
Nikola Janev is a Melbourne wedding photographer with a calm, candid approach and a touch of editorial glamour, photographing weddings since 2014.
About Nikola Janev Photography
Nikola Janev, known to his couples as Nik, is a wedding photographer based in Melbourne. He photographed his first wedding in 2014 and has documented hundreds of love stories since, with galleries featured in Vogue Australia, Ivory Tribe, Together Journal, Polka Dot Wedding and Rock'n'Roll Bride. His style is honest, timeless and elegant, with a dash of drama and editorial glamour, and he is happy to travel anywhere for a wedding.
On the day his approach is calm, relaxed and unobtrusive, capturing candid moments and offering gentle direction for the couple portraits. Couples receive 20 hand-picked photos within 24 hours as a sneak peek, then the full online gallery within four to six weeks, with roughly 100 processed photos for every hour of coverage. Nik edits every image himself and never outsources the post-production, which keeps the style consistent from gallery to gallery.
Three packages run from eight to twelve hours of coverage, and add-ons include analogue film rolls, a content creator, a second shooter, parents albums and a pre-wedding shoot. Fine art albums are hand-crafted by Atkins Pro Lab in Adelaide, with over 70 cover materials to choose from. Recent galleries include weddings at Montsalvat, Panama Dining Room, Rupert on Rupert, Leonda By The Yarra and Barunah Plains.
